Susan does beautiful work in portrait and figure drawing in my class and most importantly works at her goal of being the very best. She has a good sense of compositions, draws very well and paints in excellent brushwork, both loosely and in fine detail as fits the situation.
Her subjects are as wide ranging as her interests — still life, portraiture, figurative and plein air landscapes. She recently won Best Small Painting in the Blossom Art of the Flowers II competition
